Thank you! I understand. So i just busted out my Lux meter, and did some readings, then looked up old posts to figure out how to do the math, and i got these Throw numbers for the C8, and also the D1s in that pic.
C8 sbt90.2 = 740meters
D1s sft40 = 830meters
I feel like those numbers are a bit low, given i am testing in a different setup to the other two times i did throws tests with other lights, because i consider the D1s to be a Solid thrower and well tuned, and the C8 too. So maybe their low numbers, or maybe its my setup. I tested at 5 meters.
The D1s has a bigger reflector right? I think the stock convoy switch might be limiting your outputs because of its resistance. Those switches aren’t rated for the high amps of a sbt-90.2 and will get warm from what I’ve read.
