Cyansky HS6R review and beamshots

Cyansky kindly provided their HS6R headlamp for review.

You can read the full review on my site: Cyansky HS6R review on Dave's Tech Reviews. I'll share a few highlights here.

I found the aux light to be especially good on the Cyansky HS6R. According to the Opple Light Master Pro it's around 3800K and 96 CRI and has a DUV of -0.0015. Very nice.

The headlamp is available directly from Cyansky’s store (affiliate link, non-affiliate link). There's some Cyansky lights on Banggood (affiliate link, non-affiliate link) too but I don't see the HS6R yet.

There's already a few other reviews of the Cyansky HS6R:

Let me know if you have any questions about the light.

Also, how do you pronounce Cyansky? I always assumed it was "sigh-an-sky" (like the colour cyan) but I've heard some people say "see-an-skee".

It’s sigh-an-sky like the colour, pretty clear indication is the cyan colour theme which makes it amusing when the reviewer gets it wrong.

Charles says see-an-skee
Rusty Joe says it as see-an-sky (maybe just the accent)

I see that everyone, including myself, sees the 2600mAh cell as a con. Cyansky have a 3500mAh cell that I got with my order of 30pcs (loved it so much I became a dealer), so it was disappointing that they thought the few extra $$ were a bit high so they settled with the bundled 2600mAh.

Post #2222

Thanks. I was pretty sure it was sigh-an-sky!

Agree about the cell. It’s not a big deal but seems like a slight cost saving when the rest of the headlamp is all really good.

Thank Dave’s great review. Professional as always.

Cyansky, pronounced [’saiænˌskai], means the sunny and blue sky in the harmonious ecosystem.

The word Cyansky, I think it doesn’t matter how you read it, what’s important is that you will remember it, haha
