Malkoff Brass High Low Switch Ring ( faulty ) maybe a fix could make this work again.

I wish I was in the UK to check out the parts. I read somewhere if the anodizing inside the head is worn out, using the ring would only allow for high output as the head now bypasses the resistor? Or is the resistor itself faulty in this case?

thanks, - everything seems ok - this is a strange one. once I get the other ring, I will check this all out better.
