hi anyone got any tips as i cant remove screws from pocket clip? allen key that came with it seem to strip screws.
Assuming that you haven’t stripped the top of the screw head, I would try just a light touch of a hot soldering iron on the screw head (just a few seconds) then try again. Sometimes the slight expansion of the metal will allow it to break free.
I have used this on watch bracelet screws and a few other things with great success. Good luck.
On mine, the little hex wrench that came with the light worked fine to unscrew the clip.
Only problem I had was when I wanted to do an emitter swap. To remove the head you have to remove more screws of the same type at the bottom of the battery compartment near the head. The stock hex wrench wasn’t long enough to reach up there. Ended up breaking off the bent portion and using a pliers to hold the wrench inside the compartment. It worked, but was awkward.
Sometimes I find if a hex wrench doesn’t work I may get better results with a small torx wrench. Not sure if that would work with this light though.
