Hi I have a astrolux mf02 v2 unfortunately a friend of mine inserted all 4 batterys the wrong way around and fried the torch the led on the button works but the light doesn’t ! . Can this be fixed at all it’s a new light and I really like it
Can or can’t be fix depends a lot on the user. Some are more technical than others. I myself can do the simple stuff but I’m not competent enough to do major mods.
In your case I’d contact Astrolux, see what can be done, what’s involved, and how much.
Thank you I think I could fit a new driver if I could find one! I haven’t contacted banggood yet as from what I have read they are difficult to deal with unfortunately

I don't think the problem can be fixed, because it is impossible to reattach the neural connections once they are re-positioned the correct way.
Forget banggod. Contact Astrolux directly.

That’s a shame. You might feel better if you give your friend a good beating.
Kind of hard to forget “Banggod”, since Bangbad owns Astrolux. But maybe they have separated out the division to deal with things like this. Would be cool if they did, since dealing with Bangagong is like pulling teeth to get anything done.

Not that it is any consolation but I came within a fraction of a turn to doing the same thing with my BLF Q8. I still shudder when I think about that moment of idiocy.
If you want to buy a replacement driver, my suggestion would be to contact Mateminco through their Aliexpress store. They’ve been helpful in the past.
Mateminco makes many of the Astrolux lights, including I believe the MF02
