I want to post about a flashlight I had die on me. Hoping to get some insight.
I had Vinh from Sky Lumen do an emitter swap on a 4X18A. The only difference in emitter is changing from the white SBT90.2 to a red SBT90.2. Nothing else was altered.

I believe the driver died, since there is no response from the eswitch but the red SBT90.2 will still illuminate, just very dimly.
Thoughts? I know the voltage needs for the red SBT90.2 is lower than the white. I’m not well read on the nuances of drivers and interplay of voltage, current and resistance.
