Opinions on New Convoy 26800 light? (Convoy L8 SBT90.2 26800)

This seems like an amazing concept to me. I’d love to see some performance estimates by those more knowledgeable than myself.

It looks the same as the Pionemann P80…it’s probably made by the same company for Simon. It’s a single-cell 26800 thrower. Gets hot, fast, but so does every 1 cell Sbt90.2 thrower out there. This one doesn’t have the buck driver that the 4×18 does, so you’ll be getting FET-like performance. Looks like a good light, but needs testing!

4×18A uses a buck driver? Can you provide a source for that?

Brain fart. It’s a boost driver for the xhp70.2 version. The Sbt90.2 uses the FEt driver.

Hmm no black option? And no attempt to mimic or blend into the original design of the light? Seems like a bit of a disappointment in the aesthetics department.

26800s are not to be hidden from the world, they are for proudly displaying for all to see
