I was originally looking at the nu32, but just saw the UT27, and I’m a little confused as to the differences, pros & cons of each, etc, and especially the light quality, color, and cri. Thanks!

I reviewed the UT27, but not the NU32
The UT27 is nice new headlamp, but I don’t like the fact, that high CRI is spotlight and cool white is flood. It should be the other way around. I have NU35 and it has it the right way. NU32 I don’t have, can’t tell the difference, but it’s older model with no choice to use AAA batteries in emergency.
I don’t think there is any high CRI on the UT27, I thought it was just the usual 70CRI but warm white for the spot beam? Looks good, but one reviewer snapped the battery compartment door.
You are right, there is no high CRI in UT27, only warm 3000 K LED for spotlight. Sorry, my mistake.
With such a warm temperature, I doubt there are any real benefits in having high CRI?
