Internal Resistance Mismatch, a problem?

Today I finally received my Convoy L7. The included 5500mah Keepower 26650 cells have internal resistances of 45mOhms and 60mOhms as measured by my Vapcell S4 plus. Will connecting these cells in series cause any problems? If not, how big of a difference is big enough to worry about?

I don’t trust chargers’ internal resistance measurements, so in my eyes, if they came together, it’s perfectly fine.

I agree. Just use them and monitor every few months and just see what you see?

I’m curious did you test the cells in the same slot on the charger and did you repeatedly get the same results —— I find no problem using them in series —- mark the 2 cells and use them in the light, check the voltage/capacity after using quite a while —- you’ll be able to see more of how matched they are

Alright thanks guys, I’m just going to keep an eye on them for the time being.

In other news, the L7 kicks ass! The 35% output level is so bright that it makes the 100% level feel like overkill. Even the 10% level is perfectly use-able as an outdoors walking light. The beam profile is so good for actual use too. Makes you realize what you’re missing out on with pencil beam lights.
