Mrs. Jeff was cleaning up some dirt that had accumulated behind some landscaping timbers we had stored by the side of the driveway.
Been there for at least 20 years.
Started shoveling out the dirt and unearthed this several inches down. Completely packed in.
Took it in, cleaned off the dirt. Looks brand new (it was in the sheath). The edge has never been sharpened.
We have no idea how it got there, but it has clearly been there for years.
