Dummy cells?

Does anybody other than Malkoff sell dummy cells? Looking for a 18350 and 18650 dummy but coming up short.

I made my own using a length of wooden dowel rod. A wood screw at each end for the contact.
Then I cut a trench in the side of the dowel to tuck in a wire. Hooked the wire to the screws on each end.
Presto-Changeo a dummy cell made by a dummy…

I make mine with a length of copper tubing and a 40 S&W case soldered on each end then fit with a couple of bands of heat shrink tubing.

I recommend the book Buying and Selling Dummy Cells for Dummies.

Cool. Had not seen those before. For 40 cents a pop. Why not?

I came across them the other day looking for stuff to pad an order to justify shipping on some cells lol. They say they are intended for practicing welding but it looked like they would fit the bill here. I wonder if they are electrically connected so they can be used as spacers of sort, or if they are totally empty.
