Reverse clicky on a comeback? (@Solarforce)

SolarForce has yet another new reverse clicky in gray. That's two in two days. Is the pendulum starting to swing back the other way? Personally, I like having the choice, if nothing else.

Update- now (March 3rd) available in blue and gold WITH the reverse clicky. Seems like the answer to my question is "yes"!

I like reverse clickies for multi-mode lights. If there is some other way to change modes or it is a 1-mode light, then I prefer a forward clicky so I can do momentary on without worrying about it changing to the next mode.

I totally agree with that philosophy.

I have one forward clicky Solarforce, the L2T. It worked like crap with the 3 mode Manifont, so I ended up putting a single mode in there. That said, I'll never buy another forward clicky again that doesn't have a separate mode change button...

I emailed solarforce yesterday to query if the grey would be available with a reverse clicky since they just released the black. They said:

Dear friend,

WE will make it availalbe now~

Grey L2P, please go to our webiste, we will make it list today ^^

L2P Grey and other color reverse clicky

Thanks for your suggestion and hope you will happy with our services

Pretty cool they made it available just because I asked!

I'm comfortable with both forward and reverse clickies in multi-mode lights. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Now if they made a forward clicky that ALSO let you change modes once you had clicked the light on, that would be the perfect swirch (i.e. a reverse clicky with a temporary "on" mode before clicking).

That's a great idea.

I’m also happy to hear that reverse clickies are back. I just built a 3 mode 26650 light with McClicky switch and even that is a bit hard to get used to.

+1

the power of BLF..a few members send emails and it is done..

I agree that momentary with reverse would be nice.
I’ve put forward clickies on all of my lights where that is possible because I like and use the momentary feature the most often. I have never had the problem some mention with it changing modes unexpectedly.
I only have it on one light with modes however. The only time it would change modes on mine is if I used the momentary feature twice within a second or two (and there is no point in that in the first place). I’m using a Thrunite drop-in.

Might be my old brain but weren’t all of the l2s reverse click a year ago? I thought they just started making everything forward click, starting about the time the l2t came out.

I know my 2011 l2m I bought 2-3 months ago is reverse click..
