Flickering Xeno E03 nw...

Has anyone fixed this issue?

Mikael

The best thing is to take it apart and clean everything. It could be a contact issue.

I get flickering in the Quarks form time to time. To fix that you need to clean the contact parts. Some aluminum oxidation can happen too especially with higher current/temperature, so make sure you clean the width part. Especially since the E03 has anodized threads and it's very important to have that part clean, where the aluminum is not anodized. Same goes for the interior of the tailcap.

Change the clickies with the provided spare one... helped on mine.

Vectrex, couldnt you just have tried to clean the old clicky?

my E03 XML NW is flickering too and very dim on Eneloops.

yesterday i found out that one of my AAA keychain lights is brighter then my Eneloop-driven Xeno and also runs longer than the Xeno.

my Xeno is nice but useless with Eneloops. (my keychain light doesnt run on 10440's. havent tested it yet) E03 XML NW is a pretty pathetic light. no original pocket clip, dim, tsss, pfff.

i do like the Xeno diffuser a lot though!!

How would one clean press fit clicky internals? HKequipment even offered to send a spare one as replacement, but mine works fine now. (XP-G CW)

bathing in alcohol or spraying with WD40 spray ?

I drown it in Deoxit spray, then let it dry.

Some have reported success with WD40, but I can only recommend what has worked for me.
