I got the FC-40 version, 5000-5500K and it’s freaking amazing. 98 CRI and 2000+ Lumens with great regulation from the boost driver…all for $50! Good throw too…200+ meters. A winner from Hank.

That’s definitely a great emitter choice. I tested the 4-4500K version in a KR1 which is basically the same light and it was excellent.

Thanks for the review. The D1v2 is going to be my next light purchase, I just need to decide on the emitter.

Yep. Ever notice how Hank doesn’t sell Cree XHP50.2 and 70.2s? There’s a reason Wink

Great review!
A lot of great little tid-bits of information in there for somewhat novices like myself.
