Unknown Bug on Aliexpress is Keeping Me From Checking Out

So I go to check out a couple of nights ago and I run across a bug where my cart items disappear except for 1 when I got to checkout. This happened in all browsers and cannot be fixed by the common lot of solutions (aka powering off, etc). So I contacted support and sent all of the screenshots and the case got escalated. No word on what this is. And it happens with random items where it only lets me check out one single item.

Any ideas?

I can’t really comment about your particular issue but I’ve had issues recently with AE. A couple items I’ve had to re order from a different supplier because the item was simply not shipped or shipped and ‘returned to sender’ in the same day.

I suspect it is related to the down turn in economy as well as changes in shipping subsidies in China

Are all of the items from one store? How are you paying?

Paypal. Different stores. No method to the madness.

Only thing I’ve had recently is it shows that there is an item in my cart, but when I look at the cart it is empty. Been doing it for about a week.

My cart has shown 5 items in it for a week. When I click on the cart to view it, there is nothing in there. A little odd.

You can only pay one store at a time. If there is a problem and you want to dispute an item with PayPal you can’t have multiple stores on one transaction.

Not true. I’ve done it many times. But even when testing what you say, I select only ONE single item and then go to pay, it doesn’t end up in the cart. So no way to check out. It’s a bug.

Same problem with Convoy Flashlight Store. Cart always shows empty after adding item, clicking buy now, coming back later to complete the purchase.

I had similar issues last week with a Wurkkos order. In addition to the empty cart, there was a problem with PayPal redirecting to Ali to confirm/complete the transaction (got the “Oops, something went wrong. Unable to contact server” message). After 5 tries and a half hour of frustration it finally worked, but I had to go in and manually cancel the previous 4 order attempts on the App.

Had this issue, had to turn off my VPN to check out. That worked but don’t know if there was another way
