I am about to buy a sofirn if19 flashlight. Thinking of replacing the sst40 emitter with a high cri sst20.
Does anyone know the sizes of the led mpcb and driver of this flashlight?
Any other suggestions are always welcome…
This flashlight is pushing my SST40 at 9.4A and SFT40 at 12.2A. Too high for an SST20?
Driver: 21mm
MCPCB: 20mm at a guess.
I didn’t want to lift it out, so I used my calipers over the head and lined it up best I could.
Hmmm…Too much current for an SST20 indeed…Many thanks i appreciate!
Just discovered that this driver is entirely unregulated, even moonlight dims.
Forgot to mention the above current draw measurements are with a Samsung 30Q and 18650 tube.
