I have a Convoy L8 which I believe is faulty, if I unscrew the tail of the lit torch half a turn it turns off, but if I keep unscrewing it turns on again. Furthermore, when it is turned on after half a turn it turns off but if I screw it back on it turns on again instead of staying off since it has the electronic switch. I will be grateful to those who will give me explanations. Thanks.
Is there a visible part on the threads not anodized?
There’ll be a small part of the threads that have either worn through to the metal with use or it’s has come like that from the factory. I wouldn’t worry about it and that’s not what you’d call faulty. I have heaps of models from various brands that do the same thing.
