SOLD: Red LED Luminous PT-54 for DIY [SOLD]

Hi guys, I have a red LED made by Luminous that was harvested from a C@si0 140 series projector by me. These things are great for DIY flashlight modding. They emit a red light at 625nm and have a drive current of 9A and maxed out at 13.5A. Some examples of builds of this LED can be found at the laserpointerforums. I was planning to build one of these things in a Maglite, but decided to fund other projects instead. This LED hasn't been powered up, so it's still a virgin. Wink It comes with the optics used to focus.

Here are a few specs:

  • Recommended Drive Current: 8.1 A
  • Luminous Flux: 425 lumens
  • Dominant Wavelength: 625 nm
  • Forward Voltage:
    • min: 2 V
    • typ: 2.7 V
    • max: 3.5 V

Datasheet available upon request (Luminous stopped providing datasheet publicly).

Bump. I'll give this one more try. I guess if no one wants it, I'll just have to make a flashlight out of it. Beer

Sorry mate, I know I will regret this later but I have decided to spend the money elsewhere. Make sure you put some pictures up of whatever you do end up making with it. Smile
