Noctua?

This is one of the names of our headlight series

I like the headlamp.

Thank you!
Brinyte HL28 hunting flashlight is good!
people use it for hunting trip.
Also have many people like Brinyte HL18 with SFT40 led.

how hard is it to list what sort of battery these things use. It’s been questioned for every light you have - I guess you’re not into feedback

Hi sir, thank you for your suggestion.
We will post battery list later.
thank you

All the product details are on brintyte.com

Each product page mentions the battery type.

Glad to see some updates including battery type info. Though I think few BLFers would buy a light without emitter, CCT, and CRI information, which is still missing for many products.

I’m always looking out for nice headlamps and keychain lights, so the HL18 and A02 are interesting. The swivelling neck of the headlamps is neat. Unfortunately I didn’t find CCT or CRI information for either of them. The smaller HL16 mentions 6000K which is colder than I’d like.

Then there is the Noctua name which is a famous and well-liked brand for computer fans and coolers: https://noctua.at/ Even copying an owl for the logo… proving that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

Hello, in view of your later feedback, I will update the details page and post later. The HL18 use SFT 40 emitter. Thank you for your reminding. I will also check the flashlight issue concerned by everyone in the post of BLF and make a supplement later.

And about Noctua,Owls are nocturnal animals and fit our headlamp product positioning. And the owl represents wisdom, which is what we expect from this product. Plus the owl head can rotate, meaning our HL16 and HL18 head lamp can rotate the function. That’s why we named this product. As for what you said, our name coincidentally overlapped with another brand, and we do not intend to imitate it. noctua is an excellent brand with excellent product performance. We also hope to make continuous efforts in this aspect to improve product quality, so that our brinyte product can benefit more users.

Thank you Brinyte, like what you’re saying, and how you say it. Thank you also for creating the E18 Pheme, the most exquisitely pocketable 18650 and definitely the most handsome flashlight I have ever owned. I need more of these beauties sporting red, orange, blue, MAO too! :+1:

I like the design, it has something original to differentiate from other brands.

Glad to see the updates and feedback. Hope to see continued innovation from Brinyte like that clever headlamp design.

Hi,

Regarding benefitting more users, since I use only AA/AAA lights, I have the following suggestions for a new model :

  • Similar to HL16 but in AA/14500 format (must accept AA, not just 14500).
  • Nice to have : flashlight body offered in several colours (red, orange, green, blue…).
  • Flashlight head can rotate negatively - e.g. from –15° to 90°. This allows to offset the light path, when the lamp is mounted on the forehead (otherwise it is not centered).
  • Neutral white LED is a must (Nichia 4500k preferred).
  • No PWM.
  • Modes : Moonlight/Low/Medium/High in this order. Also, direct access to Moonlight would be nice.
  • Cheaper price than HL16 : don’t include a battery, and don’t build a magnetic charging port.

Finally, to avoid confusion with the Austrian brand Noctua, you could rebrand this flashlight series as Nocturna. It has the same meaning : night.

Hope this helps, and looking forward to being able to use the HL16’s sibling with Eneloops

Sorry for not replying in time because of the New Year’s Day holiday.
we have received your suggestion!
I will give relevant suggestions to the technical research and development department!
Hopefully, more and better products will follow。
Thank you so much!
