IDL Multi Tools T5, T7, T10 CONUS 3.5;4;5$

Dont know why these dont show up using Ebay search, but stumbled upon these deals while looking for them in Google search.

Shipping looks like its free in USA?

Damn, those are cheap, I wish I could buy pair of each, but the seller doesnt accept any communication-you cant ask him a question so I couldnt even ask if they ship abroad or not :frowning:

So here they are, I hope they are worth their price and if it comes with free CONUS shipping, then these might be rather good investments:

T7

SIGH

Anyone in CONUS willing to help me? Please?

Yeah, I thought about the same, but it will be too much of a hassle for someone to order them, pick up from courrier, then re-pack and ship outside USA
Ah, fudge it!

Is anyone willing to help at least two desparate Europeans fellas lol?!

Not sure how much would shipping cost tho

Prices look good but seller does not seem to have a good reputation.

Where did you read that?
It seems that he has sold quite a few items, but only has few negative feedbacks.

Which, given that most of us here have dealt with Chinese retailers isnt much of a concern

89% seems risky to me, am I the only one?

What CarpentryHero said.
The Chinese suppliers I deal with have better ratings.
Also the major complaints were that the products never arrived and of poor or no communication.
I would not take the risk dealing with this supplier and specially if it was for a third party.

I mean if this guy wants to rip me off for a fin then have at it. I figure at least he has a lot more positives than negatives and if worse case I sic Ebay on his arse and still get my money back. I don’t know, too much else happening out there to get my panties in a bunch. Btw, my hunch is that shipping is in some cases real slow, the product is tiny and easily lost in the mail, and people just get impatient and start to B & Moan so his ratings go down. Bottomline, I bet he delivers on vast majority which must be lots of ’em. 8)

Come on people, isnt there any brave soul left in the land of the brave, the US of A :D!!!

I ordered a T5, $3.50 isn’t an amount I’m going to worry about for a minute. I’ve had a T10 by Serber for years, and it’s a good quality product.

As far as shipping to Europe, I’m not opposed to it but I’d think the cost would be a deal killer, no?

I dont know, you tell me, I have no idea how are the shipping rates for such items from USA to Europe
Last time it was deal breaker indeed(that cheap sub 10$ angle light)

Thats strange, some Ebay sellers, for example, offer reasonable shipping, while others charge 2-4x as much, I dont see logic here, except for making money out of shipping charges.

BTW, Im sure I would order not one but more of these mini multi tools, otherwise there is no use of paying 10$ or smthn USD for a shipping on 5$ item.

I just checked shipping guessing the weight at 6oz total, maybe 150-200 grams, and the cost for first class postage is about $7 fyi

Thats cheap, these tools supposedly weight between 1.3 and 2 ounces max, info taken from IDL web page:

<2 ounces(~57 grams) T10
http://www.idltools.com/products/t10/

1.4 ounces(~40 grams) T7
http://www.idltools.com/products/t7/

1.3 ounces(~37 grams) T5
http://www.idltools.com/products/t5/

So bare weight without packaging of these tools should be around the same numbers what manufacturer claims, thats not that much

About $7 shipping for all three isn't bad. Would someone please buy me one of each?

My Leatherman Squirt P4 on my keychain was getting lonely... so I ordered an IDL Tools T10 to keep it company. ;)

If I like it, I'll order some more for family and friends. Thanks for the heads-up, vēer.

Off topic:

What CONUS mean ?

Continent US ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contiguous_United_States

CONUS usually means continental U.S., but a better definition is contiguous U.S. because Alaska is part of the continent of North America.
