Powering LED from 120V AC

Hey everyone, is there a cheap (under $10) power supply to power an XM-L that can put out approx 3.5V and 3A?
Would i need 4V to compensate for voltage sag?

Damn.

traditionally people go with “bump”

You can use a wall wart with appropriate voltage and amperage rating connected to a driver. Or you could use a PSU 5v out to power a driver. Not sure what the project is… And I’m sure there are 120v drivers for LEDs but never looked, so I don’t know

I never bought from these folks, but I had them bookmarked.

Hope this is some help.

bump

There is a 12v xml that can be powered to about 1a that is the only thing I can think of at this time.

I know that is not exactly the answer to your question but….
