Don’t need one of those. Rather have 18650 capable tube.

Maybe a micro usb port is better?

great price! Old emitter had 750 lumens. New XM-L2 = ?

Good Day WWEFANS,

Are you sure it has a XM-L2 emitter?

As both Olight & GearBest say it has a XM-L emitter.

Best Regards,

George

Yes, confirmed. XM-L2. webpage is just not updated.

Thanks for arranging this Rey!

I'm in for five of these. Considering to take another five if not enough people is joining.

Can't understand why others are not lining up yet.. I already have one - new model with XM-L2 emitter - and I like it.

Short "review" below.

Pros:
- Nice size: Not too small and not too large either. Fits well in hand.
- Good build quality
- Easy to use UI
- Click on - click off (with mode memory)
- Long click when on to change modes
- Three modes - not too many to go through
- Momentary on (long click when off turns the light on and stays on until switch is released)
- Low enough low
- Hidden strobe (double click when on to activate)
- In light charging
- Battery and charger included!
- Comes in a nice plastic storage case with some accessories too (diffuser, holster, ..)

Cons:
- Step from (low)low to medium is quite big. There might be situations when low is too low and med is too high. [But then again, this is a trade off in order to make the UI easier to use]
- Proprietary cell - BUT a less known fact is that a standard 26650 can be used as well! (I suppose it can't be charged in light though)
- Not having MicroUSB charging - but the included "charger" is a simple 4.2V 1000mA power supply with a 5.5mm round plug, so it might be possible to find an adapter for USB? (and the adapter is easy to replace if broken)

Easy to use UI and convenient in-light charging make this light very popular amongst "non-flashaholics".

For this price these are just perfect gifts!

Thanks for the fast review.

The built in battery has both + - on negative poles. Normal 26650 works, but not chargeable in it.

Same way, normal charger doesn't charge the custom battery.

The fact it is a discontinued model maybe scare some people away.

Right. But even today it's a nice light (especially for non-flashaholics), and I still think it's a very good deal.

Is there a better set (light, real 4000 mAh battery, and charger) with in-light charging available for less than $45?

I would be interested in a couple.

I don’t know if I missed something but why can you not use a normal 26650?

Marc.

Thanks for the quick review. It's neither the latest nor the oldest. Since it's updated version of XM-L2.

Price should be the best ever. Why not push a little and make better price?

You can use a 26650 normal, but can not be charged in the flashlight.

OK thanks for that. What happens when you need to replace that cell? Let’s hope they don’t change the design.

Marc.
