WARNING: Cometa – read/fix BEFORE inserting battery

Please put me down for one more NW, I am down for one already at #28, so this will be a second one.

Thank you and great work on the samples!

Wow this is great!please put me down for one in cw,thanks for all the hard work.

Finally the sample is here and very good one i must say

Nice looking light.
Now beamshots please

I would also be interested in extra pills as well…. Just let us know what they say.

Thanks.

+1

I give in… can I change my CW to NW too please? I am No. 212

I am waiting a definitive response on this.

The lens has anti reflective coating on both sides.

The soldering quality on led star is good. The soldering points on switch are a bit ugly but will be fine in production version. Also the boreholes in the pill.

I’ll do.

Sample looks great (heavy sigh). Can you please ADD 1 more CW for a total of 2 CW. I am #140 on the list. I would also be interested in extra pills if they become available.

Cyberescudo, could you add a CW for me, that way i’ll have both, thx !

Please put me down for one more NW, I am down for one already at #165, so this will be a second one (1x cw (old order) + 1x nw(new order)).

Thank you and great work!

Please put me down for 1 NW, thanks.

Well I come to this topic just to look at this pic

Wow, just wow

Hi Cyberescudo!

The final flashlight seems to be incredible. Good job!

Could you please confirm us, if we can use flat top batteries on the Cometa final version?

If it has any kind of ring on the positive side to avoid reverse polarity, then flat top batteries will not work.

Thanks in advance!

Ciao

well done sample the tail light look right on this one both sides leds and less bright

put me on the list for one NW

You can see springs on driver and tail
Flat should work

Thanks for the answer, h2o.

Where did you get this information, only personal experience or did you read it anywhere?

From my experience, I agree with you, in most conditions, CW lights throw better than NW lights with the same led & power, only in fog or snow the NW throws better due to reflection and the tint, you can see far more clear with less light reflection. In fact, fog lights from old cars where yellow, to avoid reflection. There are also night googles, which are yellow, to avoid the reflection of lights coming from other cars headlights going to the opposite direction.

But I read some different opinions in different forums, and I only wanted to have it clear, if this is up to personal experiences, or there is any cientific study that support this.

As you say, if CW measures more lumens than same led in NW, there is a difference. Call it sugestion or stupidity, sometimes it is measurable with machines, but humans cannot find any difference on them (like happens in loudspeaker cables, some people say they feel differences between cables of silver and cables of standard copper, and oxigen free copper, but the truth is later, on a blind test, they cannot feel this difference with their own ears, even if the difference is measurable with good measuring equipment).

In any case, the Cometa will be amazing, even in CW or NW!

Sorry, I miss that. Thanks for the clarification!

please add me to the list for a NW

Add one NW to #215 please.
