Shadow JM35 XHP50 ...Four Modes

Maybe you already knew that the Shadow JM35 XHP50 had 4 Modes/levels, but I discovered just when the flashlight I received at home and I did some tests.

In addition to the three levels that we know, clicking twice, quickly, you come to the 4th level, “turbo”.
For test I directed the beam of light on a white wall and, with a tester-Luxmeter, I measured the light (limited/partial/relative, no real Lumen):

1° Mode: 90
2° Mode: 380
3° Mode: 650
(Double clik, quick): 4° Mode: 1030

It also works by double clicks quick starting from off.

My Shadow JM35 MT-G2 version has the three regular modes (L-M-H). Double-click goes to strobe.

Does your JM35 have a strobe?

no strobe, only L-M-H and Turbo “hidden”.

It seems that there are at least two different UI’s:

mine has no turbo at double click :frowning:

No turbo for both of your 1x26650 Shadow JM35 (MT-G2 and XHP50) versions that you reviewed here [link] ?

Please note that the double-click might work from the “High” mode only.

That would mean that there are at least three different UI’s.

- 1x26650 Shadow JM35: L-M-H, no turbo, no memory

- 1x26650 Shadow JM35: L-M-H (hidden turbo), no memory

  • 2x26650 Shadow JM35: L-M-H (hidden strobe), with memory
