Tight fitting O-rings provided it should be good enough for (shallow) diving but I'm pretty sure that it's a magnetic switch only, i.e. no brightness control if that was what you were looking for.

Doesn’t look that dissimilar to one of CQG’s lights, which is good for diving.

I’ll take it to 100 meters depth the 2nd time….after you.

Nice side button….what does it do besides turn it on and off….it says random brightness at DD, but how and what? CQG just says on/off.

It says 500 lumen at CQG ad but 1000 lumen @
Dino Direct……either underdriven or not.

CQG should brush the crud off the threads before pic taking.

I have one from CQG - full review to come (soon)..

The side switch is actually a magnetic slider, adjusting the current from 0.25 to 1.50A with seven steps. (Parasitic drain is 0.07A)

XM-L T6 driven at 1.5A is about 500 lm, so CQG is near the truth.

Truth Seekers need only go to
Finland.

I like this torch. Very similar (if not identical) to the 2 x 18650 version from DX in this thread.
