1800 post Givaway -- Winner chooses. -- Ended.

Congrats Brad.
Thanks Fritz !

Go with your gut Brad.
Congrats!

Congratulations Brad. Give that man a cold  !

The disadvantage of the Lenser is the run time. It was 10 minuets in turbo and maybe twice that on high. The charge capacity of AAAs is less than that of 18650s. They are also more trouble to charge. The CNQ host is another of my favorites. I already have another host that is not built up yet, or I would order an other Lenser.

Count me in too!

That CNQ zoomie with the Ahorton was a grand prize. That has to be awesome.

The giveaway has been mailed. Contest over.

Lovely fantastic freebies.......is there anything better?

The light came today and it is fantastic. I can’t imagine that any of the other lights in the giveaway could be as interesting a conversation piece as this one.

I got the “3xD cell powered zoom light with old type Tenergy NiMH D cells”, I still don’t know what light it is, but it is brand new and interesting as heck, I’ll get a kick out of showing it to people, and you seem to have made some improvements in it, for example the copper braid on the bottom spring.

I couldn’t really understand much about your lights since I have yet to try and mod one, and I don’t understand the terms used on the thread, and I thought this was going to be an interesting (the automatic zooming), but that it would be a well used old light, instead it is shiny new, the batteries look fine, and thanks for throwing in a 4th one, I can see that it is from another batch, but I’m very interested in rechargeable D batteries right now, and have plenty of use for them.

Thanks Fritz t. Cat, I didn’t know that this package was going to be so cool, I’m really getting a kick out of it.

It is from Tmart:

Here is my thread on it 3 X D cell X2 Zooming Light @ Tmart .
They have the same thing with a brand name on it for more money. I may have been lucky to get one in good condition.

Unlike the driver, the tail spring was simple, so I did the standard modification on it.

I complained to Battery Junction that the cells were old and one measured way under capacity, so they sent me a fourth one.

I just got back from playing with the light.

It is a pretty good conversation piece, and it is a good looking flashlight, very nifty and thanks.
