Cool. I imagine the holder is in series, so two 14500s would be well over 8V. If you were to rewire the holder to be in parallel, do you think that would work well? Ie, heat is more moderate and longer runtime? However, you’re only getting 3 hrs or so with your 4x18650 mod, so I can’t imagine getting much runtime with 2x14500s even in parallel. At least there’s no conversion to 5V.
