I recently bought some boxes that store 4xAA and 4 or 5xAAA, and they are a bit easier to carry or to store!
I don’t own many batteries, nor AA/14500 nor 18650. In fact, almost all my 18650 are at use, I juts have some spare, charged, just in case! Normally I use some lights with 18350 batteries to have some 18650 spare… :partying_face:
But that’s true, those boxes are good to have them in a row!!! :+1:
Maybe, maybe not. I got a set of… think it was LK 26650s?… that came with a case, and the case was busted when I received it. They probably went bowling with the cells during transport, who knows, but either way, the “hard plastic” (HDPE?) was cracked and in several pieces as if it were hard polycarb.
I’d prefer something more resilient like maybe LDPE, that’d have some “give” before shattering.
The bag shouldn’t be that bad. They still can get beat up and crushed, but…
I 3d printed it, work well, you can print 2 of it to make a box, or you can design one in any cad programs, it’s super simple

At $5.75 shipped this is cheaper than any plastic box purchased in Poland. Count shipping within country and the pouch is half the price. :person_facepalming:
Probably a big ask. I found an australian website that sells MTM ammo boxes but not the ones used by Pete7874. Does anyone know which of the ammo boxes can take 18650 size batteries??
The plastic case I got from gearbest, which can fit up to 10xAA, 5xAAA+7xAA or 10xAAA+4xAA. From slot size I figure it’d take protected 14500s as well. not sure about protected 10440s. It’s great
For taking 18650s on the road I have this Soshine box, same as @djozz, but for 2 cells
And for storage I use this cardboard box that was packaging for something I bought on aliexpress and decided I’d like to keep for some future use. The future use came and it fits almost perfectly 16 18650s. If I ever need more storage, I just use the lid, which fits 20 cells, and if I need even more I just use both.
