You say you’re providing crucial information, please share where this information comes from. I ask that because it’s in contrast with my own findings as well as other known respected community members here.
I’ve been using Efest cells for over 4 years, I’ve been known to get the most out of a light of anyone around, and I do that with Efest. I’ve tried Imren and they just don’t compare, not at all. Of course I’ve also used virtually every other “top” cell offered, from LG to Sony, and in my experience Efest cells have been equal to or better than anything out there. I don’t stand by them because they’re purple, I like em because they produce results. With over 400 builds behind me my own experience dictates that it’s really really tough to beat the results from a top Efest cell.
I’ve seen the vaper’s claim an Efest 35A is a rewrapped Panasonic PD. I’ve taken wrappers off and compared, I’ve run tests comparing, and the Efest simply isn’t a Panny. So yeah, when someone comes up making claims that I can’t find support on it sounds off those bells that someone has some misinformation. Richard buys and sells a boatload of Efests, do you think he’d be buying direct from Efest if they were knockoff cells? The answer to that is no, he wouldn’t. I’ve bought quite a few of my own cells direct from Efest. I have close to 200 Efest cells, of the over 300 cells I own. Simply haven’t found any truth in what you’re saying in my own fairly vast experience.
Sounds like some vapers bought some cheap copies and found issues. There’s been a LOT of the vaping community hurting themselves by not following normal precautions and sub-ohming cells, this done right in their face. I find it a dangerous practice, regardless of name brand.
I have been following Mooch’s tests for a year or two. I have never seen him “push sales” or “help Chinese”. I trust his tests. But I am wondering about you.
the truth is somewhere in between.
efests are counterfeited about as often as ultrafire.
even with cells that came from reputable sources i have seen inconsistency with them.
this batch may be great.who knows about the next.
its a moving target.
it seems you have to roll the dice with any of the rewrappers.
No need for explanation.

Need more info:
Imrbatteries sold large quantities of fake LG cells last year (everything carefully deleted but not everything
Liionwholesale guy is at least honest he admits that Efest switched cells, but he did not notice until public tests revealed that (or maybe he did I do not know he has CBA IV and he test them still selling them and advertise them as 35Amp cells).
Or you are saying that he is selling fakes as well.
5Amp cell , not PD (PD is 10 Amp cell) that we are talking about here.
If somebody is interested I know even which cells they switched to.
Your purple cells are just Lg sometimes Samsung (it depends on which one is cheaper at the time) cells rated by Efest by 200% more than cells actually can handle.
So much about Efest.
I can post a lot of info how everything works but I am not that bad guy
Efest is already sending emails how great their new cells are because great guys from USA already tested them. Exactly how game is played.
But, in the end of email it said “very limited quantities”.
Thats why I told you buy before they switch these Moli cells to something else
But, it will be hard to switch because they have very limited options for 20700.
And please when you write about Efest it sounds to newbies like Efest is battery manufacturer. Those are just rewrapped 18650 that you can buy for 5 bucks or less.
Or to be exact 3000mAh 35A Efest are rewrapped LG HG2 (real rated 20A) or if you are lucky Samsung 30Q ( real rated 15A).
Anybody who is still selling or promoting Efest 35A or Imren 40A cells is knowingly cheating naive newbies which puts people’s safety in great risk.
