26650 batts

Need a decent 26650 and charger, first time into 26650 territory, lol, looking for something reasonable and reliable, (and budget)

Can someone point me the right way please?.

Big_f_d_d on eBay is torchy the battery boy on here, he has the tr06 with two inr’s that look suspiciously like king Kong’s, think it was £25.99, he’s based in Scotland so you’d have them by Friday.

I got this set at the start of the month.

If the link does not work the item number is 300762689525

Tnx gords.

megabeam, I haven't updated this thread in a while, but it still has links to good sources for 26650 batteries. Myself, I use King Kong ICR26650 and TrustFire 5000mAh cells.

The orange Keygos ones on ebay may not be top shelf, but they are decent and work well enough for me. Around $20 for a pair with a charger. Buy from Keygos/cyberport888/redlog. Good dealers for lights too.

I have the Keygos, but knowing what I know now I would have done the King Kong, Knot Top or the Trustfires that HKJ teted from Manafont. The Keygos cells work but why buy them when you could buy the 3100mAh Panasonic 18650s or 3400mAh ones and have more capacity.

Are any of those other protected Bose? I have one light that uses two 26650s in series. So far no probs with the Keygos cells. They are all very close in capacity and protected, much better than the cheap UltraFire 18650s I have.

anyone know the difference between the inr and icr’s for the king kongs?
which one should i get for my hd 2010 and the skyray 9xml light?

What about these I have a credit there and could get about 1.25 batteries for free.

keygos 26650 have max 2800mah capacity, hobby charger discharge rated.

*** Note on King Kong batteries *** Description with ICR26650E on wrapping are typical Li-Ion chemistry: Lithium Cobalt - LiCoO2; Those with INR26650E are Lithium (NCM) Nickel Cobalt Manganese - Li(NiCoMn)O2. If you are using these in multi-cell flashlights, do not mix the two types of batteries.

Lots of good info on 26650 batteries here. I use the ICR King Kongs in my HD2010 and TF A8 and have been very happy with output and run time. Just don't mix and match chemistries in the same light.

coo thanks for the info.
wheres a good place to get the kongs?

Recently into 26650 territory as well, got two King Kongs from Ric & Hank, test discharged 1A with my B6, capacity were 4358mAh & 4326mAh.

These two is for this 26650 host
