[4K Review] FIREFLIES E07 - The new EDC king?

Awesome video Flashaholics

These problems are the reason I havenā€™t got one yet. Some cells donā€™t fit, broken optics leg, sharp fins, dirt carefully placed under the rugā€¦ I hope there will be an improved v2 solving these

What 21700 cell would you recommend using in this light?

Thank you!

Joe

Samsung 40T is a good choice.

Received my Fireflies E07 V2 yesterday... It's flawless!

  • All LEDs ok
  • Legs OK
  • Abundant thermal paste
  • Screws undamaged and in the right place
  • Finish, surfaces, assembly... perfect
  • Brightness: Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooah

Good to hear, mine is still going strong.

Are the cooling fins still sharp?

EDIT: What sort of knot is keeping the lanyard attached.

The cooling fins are not sharp. In Turbo mode they heat up to 60Ā° C and stay at that temperature until you turn Turbo off.

The lanyard is made of a reflective shoe lace, knotted with two simple knots on top of each other (the pretzel looking ones). Any recommendation what knot is best for attaching the lanyard?

The lanyard and the tritium vial fob were not part of the delivery, the Samsung? 40T battery came with the flashlight.

Is the switch still got no feel to it?

Fireflies all seem to lack in feed back on the click.

@fluke, the newer 2021 E07 has a better switch.
