60mm (D) × 50mm (H) reflector throw estimation

60mm (D) × 50mm (H) SMO reflector found at Kaidomain. Proportions are close to that of a typical ∅42 × 31mm C8 SMO reflector.

Reflective surface area is more than 3x that of the typical C8 reflector.

How much more throwy is this bigger reflector? 2.92x? 3.29x? …

Cheers :-)

Using the same sized LED die as an XPL HI, candela would be almost tripled yes.

So you would go from 100kCd+ to 300kCd+.

So about 600m+ to 1100m+.

It simply depends on the front surface area. Just calculate that for both reflectors (subtract the area of the flat part at the bottom).
