I save the following lights in AAA size: 47’s preon, Lumintop tool and DQG mini AAA. All of those have different modes, respectively 3+hidden blinkies, 3 w/o blinkies, 2. They are very small and well built, and they all have a good compromise of a beam profile in my opinion. I think you could be happy with any of them as your EDC.
Also, Eagletac makes a very nice twisty light in AAA format, coming in various tints too.
I read the post wrong initially, superimposing my own want. So I’ve been looking for 10440s flashlights with a clicky and strobe, which I can’t find they exist. The DQG Tiny is a great choice for a keychain as it’s light and if you make sure to get the version that supports 10440s, it’ll will be bright enough without a tight spot. I don’t think clickys are currently being produced in the AAA line by DQG, so make sure you don’t buy a fake.
It’s amazing how some of the AAA/10440 lights are like little lead weights on a keychain. Before you decide on something, make sure you look at the weight for each. You may want to opt for a twisty, as it’s very easy to operate with one hand, and it’s a lighter choice.
CNQ link for the Mini AAA xp-g2 light is working now.
The last few times I tried, It wouldn’t come up—just a message in Chinese.
Maybe they were doing maintenance?
That Ultratac K17 looks promising, but please do not just come with a first post promoting your product. Open a dedicated presentation thread, it would be better.
I would be happy to test and review the K17 flashlight if you are able to ship a sample unit.
I just bought a D25AAA nichia and I LOVE the tint. It has blinkers only if u keep switching on and off continue sly past 4 to 5 times. I only 3 turns to high output
Review sample units may not be the same product that gets sold, remember how the lottery works.
When a light accumulates multiple positive reviews from people who actually bought their own, you know a lot more about it.
For example: Review: Tank007 E09 v3 model (and that whole thread) amounts to a glowing recommendation for the Tank light.
With dissection, and improvement.
After ‘Ultratac’ clicks the link for Commercial Sellers
and does what’s recommended there — that’s the “Read Me First” info for commercial sellers — maybe some of us will get their lights, as samples or even buy them if they put a price on them.
After a few of us have taken them apart, improved them, and posted the pictures, THEN we’ll know what they’re selling.
I am here not to promote my flashlight, and the model K17 is stopped already. The website haven’t updated. Now we released K18 instead of it. And we will send out some sample for review later.
I am a new member of BLF, and I do not know the rules of BLF. Is there anybody could let me know what should I do to let you know the details? Thanks.
Please don’t be offensive. I never “shill” nor made affiliations with any company before and won’t begin now or in the future.
That was really not appropriate, I suggest limiting coffee a bit and eventually browse my post history, if possible, to relax about shill stuff.
Are these more ‘throwy’ or ‘floody’? Beamshots posted anywhere for this one? And do they have a keyring hole? I couldn’t tell in the pics.
Seems aliexpress has sold out or doesn’t carry them anymore but CNQ still lists them at $19 retail. Anyone know of more or cheaper sources?
This may be my next one. I like the slender form-factor and bright lights I want to get one before production changes or stops; the better brands will still be available later on. Gotta justify this somehow, is that a good enough excuse reason?
Tank 007 E09 has three perfectly spaced modes. Probably the most popular for any AAA EDC light.
My next choice would be Thrunite Ti3, ( has three modes including Firefly, (bit it has a strobe mode) Ti2 has two good modes Low & High & no strobe.
Nitecore Tube has stepless adjustment, rechargeable USB, but isn’t so bright )
I use Olight i3s (brand, quality, moonlight mode), DQG tiny AAA NW (SS design, light color, largest spot), Tank 007 E09 (size, PWM), Lumintop Worm II (design, PWM).
