AAAA NiMH

Dang, a 3xAAAA light. How weird. I wonder why they wanted it to be so skinny.

energizer 9v has the 6 AAAA in it. they actually are a little smaller than the “list of battery sizes” wiki page states.
the energizer “AAAA” is just shy of 8mm wide, and just a hair under 40mm long. the wiki says its 8.3x42.5.

but, thats 12 cells for under $7 at walmart… not rechargeable, but can get anywhere

I want a 3 x AAAA parallel with multi-emitter, plZ?

I have a Streamlight Pro-Tac AAA. I am a penlight guy, I have a bunch and really like them. I was disappointed in the SL. The low mode is difficult to access yet the strobe is a easy to access! As a result, I only use it on high which makes it a one mode light for me.

If you want a 1 mode penlight (and why wouldn’t you?), the Pelican 1920 is a great light and has been my daily carry at work for the past 6 months. It is just as bright as the SL but costs less and has a better clip and finish. Botach has them on sale again for $19.99 shipped which is the best price anywhere.

They have the Speedsix seal of approval. You will not be disappointed. Don’t buy them all because I still need to snap another one up as a backup.

Making good use of my DMM. Today bought new 9V Alkaline cell for it. Time to rip the current cell apart (2.9V remaining):

I dont know what OCT2000 stands for. Could be the model number (HG-RTUGB similar to). Cant be the date of expiration because nobody among us is that old!! Made in Denmark means that it is no made in China duh.

OCTober 2000 :open_mouth: Quite new, yes  (could be only the date)

Duracell has these cylindrical aaaa in it too.
If they get old often one cell pops the bottom out.
I complained about that on Procter&gamble, but they said that they don’t replace it because it was 15 years old. LOL

Here are some I got laying around, there seem to be the cheapest cells in this blocks, they leak very often. One had some pressure on it, PUFF!

If those cells are nimh, please let me know which 9V battery this is.
