If the level of professional negligence in the little bit of correspondence we’ve seen is indicative of how they conduct business, perhaps a cautionary preview is in order? (It might be viewed as classless and will probably burn that bridge, but in this case it seems reciprocal.)
While I can appreciate keeping the particulars confidential, it saves the vendor and the prospective customers time making the community aware of general pricing and practices - especially if there is a significant spread in expectations.
Unno, but if I go to a place to get a quote for XYZ and they get it wrong multiple times even after being corrected multiple times, I’d want to know about it. Might save me a whole bunch of grief should I want similar.
Imagine going to a place to get a custom flashlight: choice of emitter, driver, UI, color, ano, FC/RC switch, etc., where the choices you make affect the price. And you have a clear list all spelled out. And they quote you for the wrong item once, twice, thrice, etc., then say the light will cost 560bux.
Ummm, yeah, no. Count me out…
