My first set came with only 10 batteries — They sent me a replacement set — All 16 were in the bag but were all out the boxes — these batteries are all testing 1800- 1900 — No where near 2800 mah
My 16 pack came in a box with four sets of four in nice plastic holders. All were at 1.3V and took about 1400mah for the initial charge. One did terminate prematurely, but was fine after I restarted the charge. This was on a Liitokala 500 at 500ma.
Running some NOR tests now at 250ma and 500ma discharge rates. No mention of LSD on any of the cells I got.
Tested one AA last night. Only 1800 mah capacity. Anyone getting something close to 2800?
I think this is one Vipon deal where they are just trying to unload old or defective stock.
Tested eight of them in my two Liitokala 500’s last night. Pretty consistent, but as others have noted, no where near the rated capacity. Don’t really care as long as they cycle well and don’t die prematurely (big if…). Surprised the 250ma rate yielded a lower capacity, normally I would expect the opposite, maybe I’ll switch the units and see if the numbers follow the batteries or the units.
I had good luck with the EBL 9V Lithium rechargeables so far, but the EBL AA Ni-Cads had a couple of early deaths in a group that otherwise still appear fine. Curious.
The moral of that story must be when looking for the next great thing or a “great price”: stick with Eneloops or Laddas.
For many years now I only buy Eneloops or rebranded ones because regardless of price other ones either had poor performance or short lifespans, and usually both.

I leave judgement on this for those that know more about lanterns than me, but thought it was worth looking at. $15.39(prime) for two lanterns using coupon…. Lifetime warranty against defects even loss/theft…… 52K mostly good reviews …. for what that is worth.
I have several of the variations of the old Gerber 600’s and the Suspension NXT that I have does not compare from a rigidity or abuse loving standpoint.
