I like the black carrying case it comes with. I don’t use it but it looks cute with the carbon fiber pattern and red zipper.
This is on Walmart, not Amazon.
I don’t think it’s available in California or else I would have ordered it.
3-Piece Kershaw Assisted Open Liner Lock Knife Gift Set (2.25" + 3.4" + 3.5") $15
3Cr13 stainless steel blades (which is not very good), but all are assisted-openers.
Bought this kitchen knife set ~7 months ago. I’ve liked it so far and it currently has both a $20 off coupon and a15% redeem code, brought it to $55 in my cart (USA). I paid $90 for it when I bought it (same price today without discounts mentioned).
I am pretty sure it is made in the same factory under the same tooling as the winning set from Project Farm’s recent “Best Knife Set?” video. The block has the same geometry but the holes cut into it are different. It also has the same built-in sharpener. The general knife construction and shapes are the same outside of handle decoration. Marketing materials (fonts, image layouts, etc) and packaging look very similar.
I remember trying to decide between the two sets when I purchased, ultimately liked the aesthetics of the BRODARK set I linked here better. As mentioned, I’ve only had mine for a number of months, but I do like them. I mostly picked them because the handle was all steel and I knew I was buying a cheaper set and that gave me the most peace of mind that it wouldn’t be complete garbage.

Angry Blue, but might try 'em in foglights when I don’t need to see but to be seen. Should be annoying enough.
Anyhoo, where was a bit of gameplaying with the discounts. Advertised for 21 after vipon, but was already discounted and it wouldn’t “take” so would only go down to 24. Then it was on its “lowest price in 30 days” for something else. Finally was only 30% off or something, and this time the code did stick, so it came down to 18.
Ymmv.
I doubt they’re super bright (more like 2000 lemons at best, vs “24000”), but I just want a lower drain light vs hotwire bulbs. I’ll check 'em out regardless.
(Regular headlights, I don’t want hotter than 3000K.)
Just got those lights… pretty nice!
Nice and bright like the kind the guy has at the halal cart near me. Colors seem nice and saturated and the color presets are pretty decent. Not sure what all the blinkies do that are different from other slightly-different modes, though.
Downsides is that (deliberately) there’s no cell for the remote, so I had to steal one from a different remote to test it. Also, the wire ends are barely stripped to like 1/10", so they barely clamp in the controller. Fine for testing, but you’d really have to strip/prep the wires more to get good solid contact.
Didn’t even think to test memory yet. Ie, if you turn 'em on at night and then off for the day, do they “remember” when powered back on, or default to epilepsy mode? Ditto for unplugged vs off-by-remote.
Absolutely worth the price of admission, though.
Dewds… those Tsunkatse bulbs in the 24pak? The 2700K ones got stackable 50% off and 10% off, so total price is down to 16bux for 24 blubs.
Don’t recall if I mentioned this (and can’t get arsed enough to look), but I cracked open one of those blubs In The Name Of Science using The Hammer Of Knowledge and The Pliers Of Learning, and they’re pretty decent inside.
I thought they might be shiite and have all sorts of corners cut and whatnot, but they hold up. Big mcpcb is the only “component”, really. AC input goes through a fusible resistor, bridge rectifier, and filter cap, then the usual resistors and current-limiting chip regulates them.
The base of the snowcone is paper-thin plastic, with a thick Al-foil form pressed into it, which makes contact with the mcpcb that rests on it. That wicks away some heat into the base.
So, simple and not too shabby. Like I said originally, if I get even the same lifetime from each of these bulbs as regular hotwire bulbs, I’m still coming out ahead. and for <1buk each, hey, go for it.
And that’s for 2700K only. 3000K and 5000K only have 30% off from 40bux, so that’s still just a bit more than 1buk each.

Go crazy…
Are they more like 60w or 75w? My 100w is dying I have too many 60w and only need 100w
Ah! Forgot to add that.
Yeah, they only draw around 7.1W or so, not the claimed 13W, so are more in line with other 60W-equivalent blubs.
Even compared with hotwire bulbs in a 2-socket lamp.
Thing is, even this “150W-equivalent” bulb was nowhere near. Probably just a gimmick they use to sell more bulbs. Anyone grexes, do a refund or throw some bux at them to make them goway.
That’s cool to know. They seem to be brighter than my other 60w equivalent bulbs, along with high CRI, so I’m happy with them. I have many extra bulbs. Even the incans that came with the house so when luminescent walls and ceilings become a regular feature, at this time, I’m done with buying bulbs.
You can take the hotwire blubs and make an E-Z-Bake oven.
Of course, it’ll take 6hrs to “bake” a brownie, but hey, it’s the principle…
65W usbC and usbA charger for $16 with coupon
Took me a long time to find this charger and now is finally on sale for $16 when you apply the $4 off coupon. Has 2x C and 2x A ports, multiple fast charge protocols up to PD4 and QC4. Up to 65W so will work on many laptops. With a display so you can confirm if you are getting the max charge rate. 100-240V and compact enough to carry along for global travel.
I kind of like the way how they split the 65W when charging 2 or more devices, especially when 1 in C and 1 in A. The short coming is when you are charging 4 devices at the same time, will only do 10W per port but you are not going find another charger charging at max fast charge when all ports in use at this price. Then I don’t usually charge more than 2 devices at the same time.
The Torkese measure 8.1W here. More than 60w less than 100w. They’ll do the job, thanks lightbringer.
Seems a little too good for the price in my opinion. Have you bought and tested/used this for a while now? I’m always wary of alphabet soup CN brands when it comes to power bricks
Should be arriving tomorrow. I posted shortly after I ordered. btw, every single one of my chargers, including name brands, was made in China. Many factories in China oem for name brands during day shift and x different odd brands in night shifts.
I’ve used this GaN charger for about a year and a half with no issues, though I haven’t tested it rigorously:
Multiple stacking coupons bring it below $20
