THIS light is worth it! Especially if you can get it for the discounts listed on the page. I couldn’t and paid ~$15 and its still worth it. I’m not good at maths but it seems as though you could get it for $5 based upon the discounts listed. Again, I couldn’t.
I got the yiamia(?) one and use it as a 1/4 mountable flood when working on bike or whatev. This is really close but smaller and it’s RGB too!..ish.
Somebody tell me you got it for $5…
No viponn is needed. All discounts are on the aamz page…
Nope - the discounts are mutually exclusive. When applying the 50% code, the $10 coupon is not applied even though it is clipped.
Under the terms of the discount you can see the exclusion in lines 13 & 14
13. Vouchers must not be used in conjunction with any other promotional discounts.
14. Not all promotions are combinable with other promotional discounts on an item. In Checkout all available promotions that have been qualified for will be evaluated and the highest discounts available will be applied.
So it looks like the $15 you paid is the lowest you can get.
So any of you have feel for the self discharge rate for these various brands?
Nothing quite so fun as picking a device that had freshly charged batts a few months ago and nothing happens.
All the Best, Jeff
I did a high(er) current draw on the SinceHoly cells-2.5A using the constant current ZH-YU ZB106+ v1.3.
All cells ‘passed’ (I’ve had other fail at the 2.0-2.5A level). I got results ranging from 1525mAh/2255mWh to 1605mAh/2388mWh.
Cells held their voltage at 1.5v+ to somewhere around 80-90% of their termination (I didn’t stand there and watch when exactly and how they dropped voltage). Around that level they dropped to 1.12-1.14v and hung in there until they terminated abruptly. After termination voltage would pop back up to ~1.47v.
I’m wondering if these are [Hixon] brand, IF Hixon IS the brand or if that is a re-brand too?
The look is similar, the charging is similar, and a couple reviews I’ve read they come out with similar results. Most 1.5 AA/Li are using USB charging. I do think that potentially dings the internal capacity a bit. At least the 2 (only) brands I have with no USB do have more capacity.
Thanks of doing the testing. Good info!
Something that may be of interest to the group. I got my replacement set. The charger works as it is supposed to. I haven’t yet tested any of the cells.
Interestingly, it looks like Amazon has blocked reviews, ratings, and comments. I get a message saying something about unusual review activity and that reviews are limited to verified purchasers. Which I am. But I am still blocked. Also, they didn’t even ask why I was returning them, just shipped a new set with overnight delivery. It makes me think that these may be a high return item that could be getting killed in the ratings.
100% Bamboo Sheet Set.
$25.50 for California King, after 50% off
$19.50 for Queen, after 50% off
$17.50 for Full, after 50% off
$16.00 for Twin, after 50% off
I received these sheets yesterday and slept on them last night.
I believe that they are indeed 100% bamboo.
Bamboo breathes better than cotton and can be more durable than cotton.
Bamboo wrinkles and stains easier than cotton, and is usually more expensive than cotton.
These bamboo sheet sets are quite inexpensive with the 50% off coupon.
Oh, it gets better. Despite the red boxed message telling you about the “suspicious activity”, you’ll still get emails asking you to review that same item!
And when you review other stuff, all the other goodies you haven’t reviewed yet… will also include that same item!
I see that not infrequently on some kinds of items. Not sure what the deal is there.
And, as Lightbringer says, Amz may send you a completely different email asking you to review it.
FWIW - 90%+ of the reviews on batteries are from people that don’t have much real knowledge of them…but they think they do.
I had to look, if only to try to answer the question “what kind of battery gets slogged through mud that it would need to be mud-resistant?”. Like, some kind of off-roading car-battery?
