I have been looking for some that only come on when it is dark. It looks like these will do that. Too bad the coupon is only for one set.
A critical factor in these is where and how they will be used. Motion activated so if they are in an area with a lot of activity they can be triggered frequently-to-continuously, so will discharge fast. In my basement where I go in an out a lot Iāve re-wired a number of these because of that. They simply didnāt last very long.
The ones I have in cabinets that get triggered occasionally do pretty well.

Yes, I put some in a closet that is not used much and they are fine. Another in a bathroom entrance is triggered every time someone walks down the main hallway. I have to recharge that one every 3 days. Plus it takes almost three hours to charge fully. So the one that only turns on when it is dark will be very helpful. The one above from Amazon deals can be set to only come on during low light conditions and advertises a 2000 mAh battery. It will be interesting to see if they have done something to improve the charging speed. I will write something up when I get the set that I bought, tomorrow.

Weāve got some motion activated lights in the basement that the cat turns on when sheās down there but sheās not interested in that at all. Sheās fascinated by something down there but itās not the lights.

125 amps is a bit misleading. After more research I find that this number was originally listed as temperature limited to 80 degrees C. Continuous is 50 amps. But I see tests where it would do 60 amps. Still pretty darn stout. According to Mooch the latest data sheet (which I canāt find anywhere) only lists the 50 AMP numberā¦

The crazy part is, most 18650 in a direct short circuit will produce well over 100 amps.
