yep - actually i just got the additional 5gb now looks like a nice dropbox clone… i already have dropbox with about 7-8gb total (80% used) so ill sign up for this one and maybe keep all my “light” photos etc here

I like it a lot so far, and I’ve been a dropbox user for a few years now. Oh yeah, If you’re going to use it for anything you want to keep private, make sure you use something like truecrypt and use a strong password

probably the most sensitive info i keep on cloud servers is my budget spreadsheet - if someone sees how much i make/spend i say enjoy the show! (or lack of LOL)

Despite the repeated claims that there was an error & I needed to try again, it just logged me in anyway.
Another 5gb for you Don as soon as they send the verify email. I’ve requested it a couple times now. Perhaps they are overloaded with sign ups.

Their app also just fails with Illegal instruction. They could use a support forum.

Guess I’ll be sticking with SpiderOak! Extra 5gb with “WorldBackupDay” promo code.
No one else provides true end to end encryption anyway. Check out their transparency report!
Copy might have been useful for insecure storage & sharing but they need to fix their linux & android apps first.

Just a reminder guys, make sure you encrypt files with you don't want prying eyes to see like passwords, banking information, etc. You never know who's watching. Call me paranoid, but I like to play it safe. I use truecrypt with a long password to keep my sensitive files out of sight.

LastPass also generates strong PWs, works with all common browsers and on both iPhone and Android phones.
