Me? Already done mine, thanks.

I wouldn’t say it was easy, though. It took a ~40cm extension bar on a strap, with the torch held in a vice, before it budged.

I guess it all depends on how much Wheaties the Lumintop employee had that morning when they tightened it up….

Yea some people took there of easy.

Strap wrench doesn’t have the most grip it will slip with out much force. I guess that may also depend on the quality of the tool.

Nick what about trying a clamp? Like an F clamp?

I do not have the LED yet.

The driver board is probably going to stay.

Why change it?

I mean the board the LED sits on? Will you buy an LED already on a board or use the original MCPCB? Mean i would have to reflow the LED onto the old board.

I stopped reading the GT thread along time ago so i am not sure what sizes they are using for the LED and driver.

The stock driver will be fine if you are replacing the LED with the same LED XHP35.

I want to use the same XHP35 but in the 5700k tint.

I could send the head if you already have a GT there to test it on.

What area of Sydney do you live in?
