Looking for a new dive torch but don’t want to pay megabucks.
These two have come up in a few discussions but can’t find much on the Archon to compare. The quoted specs are better with 3k lumen and 4hr run time but would be good to find someone with experience.
I don’t have much to add, other than I really like the D35 (or…I think I would, I don’t own either).
Shame they didn’t drive it a little (or a lot) harder.
edit: let us know what you get and how you like it…
Problem with the d35 is the 1hr burn on high vs 4 from Archon will be much more useful if true (not to mention the extra power)
I’ve never used my D35 for diving (I didn’t buy it for its diving capability) but you can ask me questions about it if you want. Sorry, have no experience with the Archon light.
Cheers but got the d33 down to 160usd vs the d35 @ twice the price so prob juts gonna take a punt with that.
Now to decide if the Trustfire 5000 from fast tech as the best bet.
