Can anyone recommend a good 2AA flashlight or host? one with easily replaceable driver and led.

Feel like drilling? Get a 20mm bit and do a “match mod” on a MiniMag. Can reuse the default reflector with some sanding, else use a 20mm TIR lens in your choice of beam (from 5° spot to 90° flood). Or use one of those 1W replacement LED modules like a Nite-Ize.
Anyway, FT sells a nice 800mA boost driver for just this kind of thing. Assemble a P90 pill with LED and driver, have your TIR/reflector ready, carefully drill, checking the fit along the way, finally drop in the pill, and you’re done!
