Are Wuben flashlights worth the High Prices?

Comparing my E6 to the nano the button switch feels like a Lexus compared to the Lumitop Yugo switch…

Comparing Wuben E6 with Sofirn SC31 Pro in a short tube with 18350 cell, they are at a similar size and weight; but the latter is actually much brighter when in turbo mode (which Wuben E6 lacks) and is slightly cheaper : coming originally in a 18650 tube, costing only about US$23 with one Sofirn 2,200 mAh cell; the short tube for 18350 cell costs about US$4 and one 18350 cell, another $ 4.

The E6 is very tempting to me, have not pulled the trigger yet. I like the option, at lower output, to run a true AA. I currently have E05’s in both cars with primary lithium cells in them and 1 14500 cell in the bag as well. I am likely in an odd camp on this one. I do wish that an SST-20 was an option in this light. Cool little thrower, but if you have car problems a thrower is not likely the light you will need.

if it is using an AA, will it run all the way down ?

(so you can get all the energy AND all the leaking!!)

Primary reason to use the good lithium primary cells. I have not had one leak yet.
