This should not be a hassle OP is right and should be refunded if purchase is within the 30 days, I think AT are just wasting time to have the 30 days expire…

I see complaints about their “no hassle” warranty and their QC fairly regularly these days. Just go over to CPF and look in the ArmyTek forum.

This is precisely why I did not, and will not, buy an ArmyTek light. I really wanted to get their Predator Pro but that isn’t going to happen unless they make some major changes.

Airgreek somehow I missed from your OP that they offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee.
I hope you get your money back asap. Note to myself: never buy a light from them.
