Australian cattle dog anybody have one?

I SWEAR that Avatar looks like you rode your bike to the moon and planted a flag! :stuck_out_tongue:

You gotta send me that pic man! lol

You could put a rocket next to him and send it back.

LOL, exactly - can’t miss it in the lawn though.

Budget Dog Forum, soon on your interwebz

When Buck got old I had to pick her up and put her into the truck so I need a dog I can still pick up 10 years hence.

They are highly intelligent and very trainable for just about any task. They make superb companion animals, but they are high energy and want to be where the action is.

It would be a tragedy for them to be left at home.

There is no reason to leave them as they adapt perfectly to any social situation.

Incredible breed!

provide proof that I wasn’t on the moon? it’s better this way

The sky is blue…

Photoshop. It’s actually a picture of Richard Simmons standing next to a Great Dane and holding a broom.

ahhh, I see the piles of turds…

Man y’all get distracted easily!

Focus, dogs, not dogs on the moon. Siata is brewing coffee for everyone so we can wake up and pay attention. Hyper Heelers, one and all.

Speaking of which, the Ethiopian is better than the Guatemalan and Costa Rican, just so’s you know.

Huh? What?
No more foxes?

Read about them in national geographic years ago. Very interesting how quick they could get them totally domesticated. Wish they were up for adoption.
NatGeo 2011/03/taming-wild-animals I don’t believe this is the original article, seems shorter then I recall.

The quick red fox jumps over the lazy brown dog.

Anyone recognize that?

We’ve initiated the process to foster her for now. She would have to be moved to another foster soon anyway because the people who have her now can’t keep her much longer so we hope to have her for awhile maybe a long while. I’ll let you know what happens next.

Good luck Rufusbduck. Hope it all goes well!

Hmm, not sure.
But if that quick red fox needs a home let me know!

Back before data entry had been invented, we had typing class. And if maybe you wanted to check every letter in the alphabet…

I feel old now. At 46!

To bring this back on topic, though: good luck with the pup, RBD.

That sentence utilizes every letter in the alphabet. It used to be used to check that all the keys on a typewriter functioned properly.

Another that was used, back in ancient times, was

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

In stores that sold typewriters it was common to see a piece of paper with one or both of these typed repeatedly left in the typewriter for practice purposes and tryouts.

And that is how my mind works, useless trivia at the suggestion of almost any word. Bits of old songs, whatever, but never exactly what I want when I want it. :stuck_out_tongue:

All the best for the new addition RBD. If I was a puppy and being fostered out your place would be the first on the list. A better place would not be found. Congrats mate.

That is one lucky dog, good on you…

If you were a puppy the forum would be poorer by too many builds and someone else would be short by too many shoes.

Thanks everyone, no guarantees yet that we even get her but fingers crossed.
