It sure looks like it, along with Manker. Just look at the Manker E11, UTorch UT01, and the new Lumintop EDC05.

The Lumintop has a slightly different head design, but the back half is identical, the internals are the same, and even the UI is the same.

The ‘same design different brand’ phenomenon is actually very popular these days. It’s possible that all three brands have collaborated during the design of the light, yet each one makes minor adjustments and just prints its brand on the product.

To be fair, that is the first Lumintop I’ve seen that seems to share a design with Manker. But the Utorch UT01 and UT02 are virtually identical to the Manker E11 and U21, respectively.

As the consumers we benefit the most from the collaborations and design shares, making product pricing more competitive.
I chose to own the UT01 and UT02 over the other brands, Price.
I also own many Astrolux lights, nothing Manker branded.
Several Lumintop offerings too because they are more open to price reductions, unlike Nitecore, Olight and Thrinite.
But it’s all owed to a forum like we have here, to realize the differences and deal threads like this to get such deals.

I remember the one where the only commentary from the Manker rep was “Disgusting!”.

Like, it was such a blatant ripoff of the design that even the drivers (or was it the tailswitch board?) had “Manker” right on it. :o
