I could be mistaken, but despite other charging technologies (OPPO VOOC, OP DASH, etc...) there is nothing special (except good quality) in QC cables.
I usually get reliable brands cable, and look for AWG 20 -21 sized power wires.
Unless you do not trust your chargers or want be super safe, in that case you could go for Benson Leung independently tested cables with the 56K resistor and all the stuff. Nathan K. does a similir job with his reviews.
Yes, I believe there is nothing special about QC enabled cables other than the power wires being 22AWG (or under).
