Will the lantern have one 1/4’’ screw point or two? (can’t remember what was decided in the final version) If it’s one, will it be possible to use it for tripods along with the reflector / side accessory that’s in the works?

I was wondering as this would make an awesome studio light for photography and having two points allows for flecxibility and adding more attachments to it as well.

Just realized that the potential for it as a studio light will be superb when combined with a large diffuser since you can also change tint, output and it will last for ages. No more proprietary lion battery packs for multi-led panels!

Finally, what frequency will it use, was wondering if it will cause issues with video.

Studio lights are best bought in 3-packs and the market should be pretty good!

Yes, it’ll have a 1/4’’ screw point like the original BLF Q8.

PWM frequency will be extremely high(in the range of 10+kHz), so should not be a problem.
