Iām not concerned about the LT1ās power draw; I just have no use for cheap USB cables and have plenty of those lying around. I want good ones, period.
Thanks to all who recommended Anker cables. Iām already familiar with them. I havenāt used their Powerline cables and will certainly try some when I can add them to some other order. That will be awhile, though.
Fair enough, but surely there is at least one decent brand/store on AX or eBay. If the Baseus brand makes good power banks as reported, then if would be nice if they also offered good cables. I would consider buying from AX or eBay if they were a proven brand sold by a proven store. Amazon sells plenty of junk, too, and itās more difficult to get cabling from Amazon unless you have Prime.
Those adapters seem quite useful. I have plenty of micro-USB cables as theyāve been unavoidable, but I look forward to burning the lot of them in a ritualized manner :smiling_imp: . I despise ĀµUSB and wish its designers would be charged with a crime . Mini(B)-USB is much bulkier and somewhat costlier, but itās a 384% better connector. I know of multiple households with drawers full of old Android devices that cannot be charged because their micro(B)-USB connector failed, sometimes within 6 months. They were originally retired for that reason alone.

I never did any extensive testing but the two Ugreen cables I have feel of good quality and have very little power loss through them and they are 3 feet long. They are stiffer than some cables but not bad IMO. I have a USB A to Micro and a A to C. I watched the YouTube video and those cables are not the same as the ones I got from Amazon. Mine look more heavy duty. Gold contacts and braid covered cabling. May be no better? Can be easily found searching Amazon for Ugreen gold USB A to C cable. Mine are the black braided cables if it matters.

you could try Volutz. They have their store on Amazon. I got some micro USB cables from them a couple of years ago. One stopped working and they sent me a whole set from their upgraded line. The braiding was tighter and the cable was nicer. They use 26 AWG for the data wires and 19 or 22 AWG depending on the length of the wire.
I havenāt used their USB-C wires tho so I canāt comment on the PD

Is the Sofirn 3000Mah a done deal? Would like to have the option to go for LG/Samsung 3500Mah batteries (I think that 16.67% extra capacity is worth the extra money).
Iām willing to wager Sofirn is set on bundling with their cells, but if youād rather a specific cell then thereās plenty of other stores that will facilitate that!

I just ordered a Streamlight Siege to make do till the LT1 makes it into the wild. With Amazon Prime it should get here with a couple of days to spare before Dorian makes a possible visit to the Outer Banks late next week.
